Dredging Two Rope Grab Bucket

The engineers' and fabrication division of Safal Industries makes a grab bucket specifically created for dredging known as the Dredging Two Rope Grab Bucket. Dredging takes away sediment, litter, or things from the bottom of bodies of water, including seas, lakes, and harbors so that their depths are either maintained or deeper for docking facilities, ships, or other constructions. .

An ordinary Two Rope Grab Bucket consists of two ropes enabling the bucket to gather materials from the seabed and riverbed. Dredging is impossible without the grab bucket and that is why it has to be constructed well so that it is strong enough to perform efficiently while also being able to manipulate materials that are lighter such as sand, mud, gravel, or even some other heavier materials.

• Wide range of functionality: Each scoop of the dredge is capable of holding large dredged material to increase efficiency for every operational cycle.
• Accurate control: The two rope control system allows the operator to have maximum control of the closing and opening of the grab bucket to prevent wastage of material.
• Resistance to corrosion: The coating on the bucket, or the materials used to construct it, are made resistant to corrosion, which makes it ideal for use in salt and brackish water environments.

Specification

• This is a 2-rope operation grab.
• Capacity: 0.5 to 12 Cub M
• Made out of heavy steel plates: Confirming to IS 2062.
• Wire rope pulleys: Made of cast steel as per IS 1030.
• Cutting teeth (5 Nos): Made of Cr-Mn steel as per IS 276. These are heat-treated and fixed to the grab with high tensile bolts.
• Bucket coating: Epoxy paint (2 coats of epoxy primer and 2 coats of paint). Color shade can be customized to any RAL color to suit customer requirements.
